I couldn't believe how ridiculous and unbelievable the whole thing was. I'll never watch another "modern" Renais film again but I will go back and watch some of his earlier work. I think the old man should pack it in and pass the torch to some younger talent as cruel as that sounds. Renais had a film at TIFF back in 2006 called “Coeurs” and it was just awful!
