I got 8 out of my 10 first picks and I think I was in box 42. I'm going tomorrow morning, bright and early, try to get another 4 or 5. Next year, screw it, I'm taking the week off!

This was the first year in a few years that we got everything we asked for. We were in box 20 and they drew box 66 (of 75) so we were a bit surprised we got everything. My wife is also seeing ten, but we're only seeing one (Jar City) together.

So, how did your picks go? I got my confirmation today at 2:00PM and got 9 of 10 (Jar City was filled up on opening night but I got my backup choice of Dinner With The President: A Nation's Journey/Please Vote For Me).

I'm gonna plow through the schedule and see if I should try to grab some additional tickets online Wednesday morning...

I hear ya Jason...It's particularly tough with only 10 choices.

For those of you who have gone before, have you had much luck in gettng additional singles after tickets go on sale to the public? I haven't even looked into the process - is it worth it?

I submitted my picks this morning and listed them <a href="http://eternalsunshineofthelogicalmind.blogspot.com/2007/08/submitted-picks-for-tiff-2007.html" rel="nofollow">here</a>. I got box number 45.

2. Saturday, Sept 8, 9:00am

3. Sunday, Sept 9:15am
Boy A (UK, John Crowley)

4. Monday, Sept 10, 9:45pm
El Pasado (The Past) (Argentina, Hector Babenco)

5. Tuesday, Sept 11, 11:59pm
Sukiyaki Western Django (Japan, Takashi Miike)

6. Wednesday, Sept 12, 9:30pm
Déficit (Mexico, Gael García Bernal)

7. Friday, Sept 14, 5:00pm
Hengbok (Happiness) (South Korea, Jin-ho Hur)

8. Friday, Sept 14, 9:30pm
Chrysalis (France, Matteo Botrugno, Daniele Coluccini, Julien Leclercq)

9. Saturday, Sept 15, 2:45pm
Son of Rambow (France/UK, Garth Jennings)

10. Saturday, Sept 15, 10:00pm
Ex-Drummer (Belgium, Koen Mortier)

My second choices were:
The Orphanage, Jar City, Naissance des pieuvres (Water Lillies), Import Export, Smiley Face, Flash Point, Chaotic Ana, Semptember, Shadows and Reclaim Your Brain.

I'm planning on seeing as many of whatever I don't get tickets for at alternate screenings, and I'd also love to check out Paranoid Park, Avant que j'oublie, Silent Resident, Cochochi and Lust, Caution (to name a few...)

Choosing what to see is so difficult!
